Description

FUNCTION
Support the Ecommerce Product Team in the planning, delivery, and optimization of digital experiences across eCommerce platforms. Translate business and customer needs into clear requirements, support backlog management and product delivery, coordinate testing and validation, and help ensure eCommerce systems and experiences operate effectively.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES (Note: Other duties may be assigned)

  • Partner closely with the eCommerce Product Manager to support execution of the eCommerce product roadmap and key digital initiatives.
  • Translate business, customer, and stakeholder needs into clear user stories, functional requirements, and acceptance criteria for development teams.
  • Support backlog management and refinement, including documenting requirements, identifying dependencies, and helping prepare work for development.
  • Collaborate with developers, designers, analytics teams, business stakeholders, and third-party partners throughout the product development lifecycle.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for eCommerce functionality, integrations, business processes, and system interactions.
  • Create and execute QA test plans to validate new functionality, enhancements, bug fixes, and system changes.
  • Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with business stakeholders and ensure identified issues are documented and resolved prior to release.
  • Support production releases by validating functionality and assisting with troubleshooting and issue resolution.
  • Analyze eCommerce data, customer behavior, and site performance to help identify opportunities for optimization and improvement.
  • Assist with A/B testing and experimentation, including test setup, QA, measurement, and documentation of results.
  • Build strong relationships with business and technical stakeholders to understand needs, communicate requirements, and support successful delivery of eCommerce initiatives.
  • Develop a strong understanding of the eCommerce technology ecosystem and how platforms, integrations, and third-party tools interact.
  • Help monitor and troubleshoot eCommerce issues, partnering with internal teams and vendors to drive resolution.
  • Support the Product Manager with project coordination, vendor initiatives, research, and other product-related activities as needed.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Computer Science or equivalent
  • Experience working an Agile software development environment (e.g. Scrum or Kanban)
  • Comfortable working in collaborative teams
  • 2+ years experience in ecommerce desired
  • Experience with Shopify or Shopify Plus is a plus
  • Experience with A/B testing and analysis is a plus

  • Ability to effectively handle ad hoc requests with little guidance

  • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills

Base Pay Range:

$66,800.00

to

$91,850.00

Vera Bradley’s compensation ranges are based on market data and comply with all local, state and federal regulations. Individual pay within the listed range depends on work location, skills, experience, and relevant education. The posted salary reflects base pay only and excludes bonuses, equity, or other incentives, if applicable.
