Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Marketing Specialist II / Communications Specialist to develop and execute integrated marketing and communications strategies that support employee engagement, organizational initiatives, brand awareness, and business goals.

This role will support strategic communications, internal and external marketing, campaign development, stakeholder engagement, executive communications, digital content, and event promotion. The ideal candidate will have strong experience translating complex business and technical topics into clear, compelling communications.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute communication and marketing plans aligned with business objectives.

• Serve as a communications advisor to business leaders, project teams, and stakeholders.

• Develop key messages, presentations, executive communications, and organizational announcements.

• Plan and execute marketing campaigns across email, web, social media, events, and digital platforms.

• Create audience segmentation, messaging strategies, communication tactics, and campaign metrics.

• Develop internal communications and employee engagement programs.

• Support change initiatives, recognition programs, strategic programs, and organizational priorities.

• Create marketing collateral, newsletters, web content, presentations, and promotional materials.

• Develop event communications for conferences, workshops, leadership meetings, and organizational events.

• Manage website, intranet, SharePoint, email, and social media content.

• Track campaign and communication performance and recommend improvements.

• Develop dashboards, scorecards, surveys, and engagement reports.

• Coordinate with business leaders, project teams, vendors, and other stakeholders.

• Ensure consistent brand standards, editorial quality, and messaging across communications.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Journalism, Business Administration, English, Digital Media, or related field.

• 5–10 years of experience in marketing, communications, public relations, employee communications, or related work.

• Strong experience with:

• Proficiency with Microsoft 365, including Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Business Administration, or related field.

• Professional certification in communications, marketing, change management, digital marketing, project management, or public relations.

• Experience with Power BI, Microsoft Forms, CMS platforms, and digital marketing tools.

• Experience with change-management or digital-transformation communications.

• Utility, energy, technology, or large corporate environment experience.
