Job Description Summary

GE HealthCare Israel is seeking a dedicated Warehouse/Production Quality Inspector to ensure the quality and integrity of medical system components and finished products throughout the warehouse and production processes. This role is critical in maintaining GE Medical Systems' high standards for product quality and regulatory compliance.

Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

* Perform incoming quality inspection of raw materials, components, and sub-assemblies according to established specifications, drawings, and quality standards.
* Conduct in-process quality checks on production lines to identify and address defects or non-conformances promptly.
* Execute final quality inspections of finished medical devices and systems before packaging and shipment.
* Verify that all products meet design specifications, regulatory requirements (e.g., ISO 13485, FDA), and internal quality procedures.
* Document inspection results accurately and thoroughly, including identification of non-conforming materials or products.
* Initiate and assist in the investigation of quality issues, root cause analysis, and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).
* Operate and maintain inspection tools and equipment, ensuring their calibration and proper functioning.
* Collaborate with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to resolve quality-related discrepancies and improve processes.
* Assist in the control of non-conforming materials, including segregation, labeling, and disposition processes.
* Participate in internal and external audits as required.
* Adhere to all company safety protocols and quality management system procedures.

Job Qualifications:**

* High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree in a technical field or related discipline preferred.
* Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in quality inspection or production within a manufacturing or warehouse environment, preferably in the medical device industry.
* Strong understanding of quality control principles, inspection techniques, and measurement tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges).
* Familiarity with quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 13485) and relevant regulatory requirements for medical devices.
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
* Proficiency in using basic computer applications (MS Office Suite).
* Excellent attention to detail and strong observational skills.
* Good communication skills, both written and verbal, in English.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
* Physical ability to perform duties, including standing for extended periods, lifting up to 25 lbs, and performing repetitive tasks.
