Role Overview
We are seeking an Environmental Monitoring Specialist I to support our Microbiology Environmental Monitoring team. The main role of the Quality Control Specialist, Environmental Monitoring I is to provide daily operational support and environmental monitoring (EM) services to the Immatics aseptic production areas and perform/provide safety testing for final drug product release.
Schedule: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM; Monday to Friday; On-site
Reports to: Associate Environmental Monitoring Manager

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in a science-related field, preferably Microbiology
0-1 years' experience in a related role
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with aseptic processing and working in cleanroom environments.
Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Strong professional writing skills, with the ability to prepare clear, accurate, and well-organized documentation.
In this role you will:
Perform environmental monitoring of aseptic production areas, including viable air, surface, total particulate, and personnel monitoring.
Perform microbiological testing activities, including sample incubation, result interpretation, microbial identification, media growth promotion, and coordination of samples with contract laboratories.
Support aseptic process simulations through environmental monitoring, inspection, and evaluation activities.
Execute equipment qualification activities and support ongoing equipment cleaning, maintenance, and readiness.
Perform safety testing of in-process and final drug products in accordance with established procedures.
Support general laboratory operations, including inventory management, sample receipt and disposition, and laboratory cleaning and disinfection.
