Graduate Trainee Client Manager
We’re looking for a motivated and ambitious Graduate Trainee Client Manager to join our Private Clients Team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a recent graduate to start a career in insurance with a global leader, while gaining hands-on experience in a supportive, fast-paced, and collaborative environment.
As a Graduate Trainee Client Manager, you’ll play an important role in supporting a varied portfolio of clients and learning how to manage day-to-day servicing activity, including renewals, mid-term adjustments, quotations, and client enquiries. You’ll develop practical insurance knowledge, build strong client relationships, and gain exposure to the marine insurance market.

We will rely on you to:
Manage client data securely and system records for complex, multi policy accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliant.
Prepare open market renewal packs, including pre-renewal checks and claims updates within required timeframes
Check policy documentation against client system records to ensure accuracy
Process transactions on the system for new business, secured renewals and mid-term adjustments
Work closely with colleagues to ensure enquiries, renewal requests, and workflow are handled efficiently and promptly
Answer incoming calls and make outgoing calls to clients when dealing with queries
Process payments by card transactions, and liaise with Finance Operations as needed
Assist with accounting queries and reconciliations
Help maintain a safe, tidy working environment
Provide general administrative support whilst working closely with Account Executives.
What you need to have:
A minimum of a 2:1 degree (or equivalent) in any discipline
Previous experience or a strong interest in insurance operations, account administration, broking support or a related administrative role
Strong organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise a high-volume workload and meet tight SLAs
A basic understanding of underwriting and policy administration processes
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with confidence when corresponding with brokers, carriers, and offshore operations teams
High attention to detail and accurate data entry skills
A proactive, reliable, and collaborative approach
