The Keene State Women’s Basketball Team is seeking applications for a part-time Assistant Women’s Basketball Coach. The candidate will be involved in all facets of the program including skill development, on court defensive/offensive coaching strategies, scouting, and recruiting.
This is a non-benefited position.
Duties/Responsibilities:
45%- Recruitment of quality student/athletes.
The ability to effectively evaluate athletic talent via AAU tournaments, high school games, and college showcases.
Written, text messaging, and email communication with recruits and parents.
45%-Practice skill development and offensive/defensive station coaching.
10%- Film breakdown, scouting and game preparation.
Requirements:
Candidate should have a minimum of eight years of coaching experience, preferably three years at the collegiate level.
A minimum high school diploma and preferably working on an associate or bachelor’s degree.
