Warehouse Manager
Location: Dubai, UAE

Position Overview
We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee the full day-to-day operations of a warehouse in Dubai.
The role will be responsible for ensuring the efficient flow of goods across receiving, storage, picking, packing and dispatch operations, while maintaining strong inventory accuracy, operational efficiency, safety standards and effective utilization of warehouse space and manpower.
The Warehouse Manager will also work closely with other departments including Finance, Sales, Marketing, HR and Logistics, providing regular operational reports and addressing warehouse-related challenges and improvement opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
Warehouse Operations
Oversee daily warehouse activities including receiving, returns, storage, picking, packing and dispatch.
Develop and implement warehouse policies and procedures to ensure safe and efficient operations.
Monitor inventory levels to support customer demand while minimizing stockouts and unnecessary carrying costs.
Ensure proper storage and handling of household products.
Plan and supervise receiving, unloading, picking, packing and dispatch activities.
Manage warehouse staff welfare, including accommodation-related matters where applicable.
Inventory Management
Implement effective inventory control measures to maintain accurate stock records and minimize shrinkage.
Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
Conduct regular cycle counts and inventory audits.
Coordinate with purchasing and sales teams to forecast stock requirements and optimize inventory levels.
Logistics & Transportation
Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments and manage transportation providers.
Ensure timely delivery to local retail customers, with a target lead time of up to 48 hours.
Optimize warehouse layout and workflow to reduce handling and transportation costs.
Ensure compliance with transportation regulations and safety standards.
Oversee vehicle fleet maintenance activities.
Ensure customs-related orders are accurately picked and dispatched within agreed timelines.
Team Leadership
Recruit, train, supervise and develop warehouse employees.
Allocate responsibilities and monitor individual and team performance.
Promote a culture of teamwork, accountability and continuous improvement.
Coach team members and support their professional development.
Ensure proper use of PPE and warehouse equipment.
Safety & Compliance
Enforce warehouse safety policies and procedures.
Conduct regular safety inspections and training.
Maintain a safe working environment and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or a related field is preferred.
Minimum 5–8 years of experience in warehouse management or logistics operations.
Previous experience within FMCG, household products, trading or distribution is strongly preferred.
Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management and logistics processes.
Strong leadership and communication skills with experience managing and developing warehouse teams.
Proficiency in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and relevant warehouse software.
Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and warehouse reporting.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify trends and improve operational processes.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills with a focus on customer service, efficiency and cost control.
Key Accountability
The Warehouse Manager will be accountable for the safe, efficient and cost-effective operation of the warehouse, including inventory accuracy and effective utilization of manpower and warehouse space.
