Interns will gain knowledge and experience through exciting and real-life learning opportunities. Interns must work in accordance with DTNA’s core values of passion, respect, integrity and discipline. Internship positions can be located at various DTNA locations across the US. We are looking for high performing and motivated individuals in various areas within DTNA organizations. DTNA internships begin each summer in May or June.Interns in this role may have the opportunity to transition into a full-time position subject to manager evaluations and business availability.
The department is responsible for creating market-based pricing for all parts sold in the aftermarket. It works to understand and determine market value and pricing structures to improve gross profit and margin.
During the internship, the intern will make valuable contributions to the pricing organization by analyzing pricing, sales, cost, and competitive data to support strategic decision-making. They will build and maintain analytical models, dashboards, and reports that improve visibility into competitive positioning, pricing scenarios, performance trends, and key pricing metrics. The intern will collaborate effectively with Pricing, Marketing, Sales, Product, Finance, and Analytics partners, while also delivering timely ad hoc analyses to address business needs. In addition, they will support continuous improvements to pricing tools, processes, and data quality, demonstrating strong analytical skills, attention to detail, adaptability, and a collaborative approach.

What You Drive at DTNA
- Analyze pricing, sales, cost, and competitive data to support strategic pricing initiatives.
- Build and maintain analytical models to evaluate competitive position, pricing scenarios, and performance trends.
- Partner with Pricing, Marketing, Sales, Product, Finance, and Analytics teams on cross-functional initiatives.
- Support ad hoc analyses and deep dives to answer time-sensitive business questions.
- Review pricing model outputs and recommend part-level price adjustments based on competitive position, cost changes, demand, volume, and margin objectives.
- Perform pricing quality checks to identify missing or outdated costs, unusual margin changes, channel-spread issues, and other data exceptions before price implementation.
- Evaluate sales deals, promotions, and discount structures to measure financial impact, protect profitability, and support consistent pricing decisions.
- Monitor post-price-change performance, including revenue, volume, margin, and competitive position, and summarize findings for business stakeholders.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of pricing tools, processes, and data quality.

Knowledge You Should Bring
- Must be currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s program or higher from an accredited college/university OR have recently graduated within 1 year of the position start date (May/June)
- Working toward a Bachelor's degree in Business, Data Science, Economics, Engineering, Statistics, or a related field.
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales, operational, and financial data, identify trends, and develop actionable recommendations required.
- Interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment
Exceptional Candidates Will Bring
- Working toward a Master’s degree in Business, Data Science, Economics, Engineering, Statistics, or a related field.
- Preferred tools: Paragon SAP, Syncron, Python, SQL, Excel, Power BI, Tableau, Alteryx, and SharePoint.
