We’re looking for a skilled Actuarial Data Analyst with an eye for detail and a passion for turning complex insurance data into clear, actionable insights. Joining our Actuarial Analytics and Business Insights team, you’ll play a key role in building, maintaining, and improving our Power BI reports, helping the business make confident decisions. This is a great opportunity for someone with insurance industry experience to make a real impact, while also developing their skills in tools like Power Query and Snowflake, with plenty of room for career growth.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Maintaining and enhancing our Power BI reports to ensure accuracy and consistency
  • Supporting the comparison of Power BI and legacy Tableau reports for ongoing projects
  • Running and updating monthly reporting cycles
  • Building new Power BI reports to meet business needs
  • Using Power Query to optimise reports (where experience allows)
  • Working with stakeholders to understand data requirements and provide clear, meaningful analysis
  • Helping with the transition of data systems from SQL/Access to Snowflake
  • Collaborating with actuarial, data, and business teams to deliver insight

What we’re looking for:

  • Proven experience working with Power BI in a data or MI analyst role
  • Insurance industry knowledge (essential) — general insurance preferred, with actuarial experience a plus
  • Strong skills in SQL and DAX, with Power Query experience highly desirable
  • Comfortable with data analysis, validation, and producing clear visualisations
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines while collaborating with multiple teams
  • Strong communication skills to explain data findings to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Bonus points for Snowflake or data migration project experience
  • Degree in a maths, statistics, or similar numerate discipline

What we offer

Our benefits package includes:

  • 27 days annual leave + bank holidays
  • holiday purchase scheme
  • enhanced pension scheme (up to 10.5%)
  • life assurance
  • subsidised private medical insurance
  • employee discounts platform
  • two days volunteer leave
  • enhanced maternity, paternity, adoption leave and pay for all new parents

+ many more!
