What Will You Do?
The Overview
The Principal Product Designer to own the end-to-end design of our products — from early-stage discovery through polished, production-ready interfaces. This is a foundational hire at a critical stage of growth. You will be the design voice in the room: following standards, collaborating with Product & Engineering, and delivering work that meets both the needs of clinicians and patients.
This individual contributor role is ideal for a seasoned generalist who is comfortable with ambiguity and confident in using their craft to create clarity. A strong candidate will be equally skilled in gathering requirements, building information architecture, and crafting high-fidelity UI.
The Specifics
- Define and drive long-term product vision and design strategy for multiple products. Lead complex, ambiguous design problems from conceptual exploration through detailed execution.
- Partner with Product Manager and Engineering teams to conduct workshops, feature definition, and stakeholder management
- Collaborate with clinical, regulatory, and legal teams to translate user needs into design artifacts and specifications
- Design high-fidelity mockups and interactive prototypes for user research and development handoff
- Update organization regularly on product design progress.
- Represent the design perspective for broad, non-technical audience

Who You Are?
- 7+ years of product or UX/UI design experience, including 3 years in a senior or principal-level role
- Portfolio demonstrating end-to-end of complex product design, ranging from long term product vision, to detailed execution
- Hands-on experience designing for regulated industries, preferably medical devices, health IT, or clinical software
- Strong organization, written, and verbal communication skills, including ability to document design rationale and detailed specifications.
- Working understanding of product management and development processes, with demonstrated experience collaborating with those disciplines

Starting Salary is at $154,000.00 (Exact Compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location)
