Description
escription: Staffing Office Data Quality Analyst (Intermediate level)
Primary Location: [Mumbai, IN]
Job Category: Operations / Data Quality & Compliance (Non-Employee Staffing)
Schedule: Full-time
Shift: Day Job
Role Overview:
The Staffing Office Data Quality Analyst is an intermediate professional role responsible for ensuring absolute compliance, data integrity, and operational efficiency within the non-employee (contingent workforce) onboarding lifecycle. Operating under a strict 24-hour Service Level Agreement (SLA), this role is critical in verifying that all non-employee candidates comply with internal Staffing Office processes, corporate policies, and country-specific legal and regulatory due diligence requirements.
The ideal candidate will apply analytical thinking, attention to detail, and knowledge of enterprise vendor and staffing systems to safeguard the firm's assets, ensure financial approvals are in place, and continuously drive process and quality improvements for contingent labor operations.
Responsibilities:
SLA & Back-Office Execution: Independently review, verify, and process non-employee onboarding and staffing transactions, adhering strictly to a 24-hour SLA while maintaining zero data-quality degradation.
Non-Employee Verification & Compliance: Perform rigorous verifications to ensure all non-employee onboarders have complied with internal Staffing Office procedures, background screening requisites, and corporate policies.
Country Due Diligence: Validate country-specific onboarding documentation and legal/regulatory due diligence requirements based on the exact country/jurisdiction where the non-employee resource will be located (including visa, and local labor clearances).
Financial Control: Ensure adequate and verified financial approvals (such as cost center allocations, headcount approvals, and budget authorizations) are fully documented and in place in our staffing registries before moving forward with non-employee onboarding actions.
Audit Support: Actively support internal and external audit requirements by preparing, organizing, and delivering necessary operational artifacts and compliance proof-points.
Process & Quality Improvement: Analyze transaction workflows to identify recurring bottlenecks and make actionable recommendations for both process improvements (operational efficiency) and quality improvements (reducing data entry errors and enhancing data integrity).
Systems Utilization: Track and maintain data quality results in Fieldglass
Data Integrity Standards: Adhere to established team productivity and data quality benchmarks, generating, reviewing, and distributing error/exception reports to rectify system discrepancies.
Stakeholder Communication: Communicate with tact and diplomacy to exchange potentially complex or sensitive compliance/onboarding information with internal business managers, procurement partners, and external vendors.
Risk & Control Alignment: Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding the organization, its clients, and assets. Drive compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations, adhere to policy, apply sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct, and business practices, and escalate, manage, and report control issues with transparency.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s/University degree completed or in progress.
Experience: 6 to 8 years of professional experience in staffing operations, data quality assurance, compliance environments, or vendor management.
Language Skills: Intermediate English level (written and spoken) required to exchange operational and regulatory requirements with regional and global stakeholders.
Systems & Tools: Highly preferred hands-on experience or familiarity with:
Fieldglass (Vendor Management System)
Resources@Citi
ServiceNow (Ticketing and workflow engine)
Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, SharePoint, Teams)
Core Competencies:
Exceptional attention to detail and sharp analytical thinking to interpret factual documentation against strict compliance rules.
Ability to work independently and manage complex non-employee onboarding scenarios with limited supervision.
Proven capability to handle time-sensitive tasks under strict SLA timelines.
Strong communication and diplomacy skills to manage interactions with hiring managers, procurement leads, and external staffing vendors.
