You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, respond to concerns, and communicate professionally with employees and visitors. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or members of the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at government locations.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas, with working environments and conditions varying by location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following applicable site procedures.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify authorized entry when required, and report unusual activity, hazards, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain required activity logs related to patrols, incidents, and other security-related observations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be a graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
