About High Focus Centers
High Focus Centers is a leading provider of outpatient behavioral health services dedicated to helping individuals and families build healthier, more fulfilling lives.

The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced and mission-driven Executive Director to provide leadership for our outpatient behavioral health and substance use treatment services in Northeast Philadelphia.
This is an opportunity to play a key role in the continued growth and success of the program, while leading a team committed to delivering high-quality, client-centered care.
The Executive Director provides comprehensive oversight of operations, clinical services, financial performance, regulatory compliance, staff development, and strategic growth. Working closely with clinical and operational leaders, this individual will help shape the direction of the site, strengthen team performance, and ensure we continue meeting the evolving needs of the community we serve.
The ideal candidate is an experienced behavioral health leader and licensed clinician who brings strong operational judgment, a collaborative leadership style, and a genuine passion for improving access to quality care.
What You'll Do
- Provide strategic and operational leadership for the site, with a focus on program growth, quality care, and exceptional client outcomes.
- Develop and implement strategic initiatives that strengthen services and respond to the changing needs of the community.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing management team while fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and professional growth.
- Monitor key performance indicators related to access, engagement, clinical outcomes, financial performance, employee satisfaction, and overall program success.
- Partner with clinical and operational leadership to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and enhance the client experience.
- Ensure compliance with applicable behavioral health regulations, organizational policies, and accreditation standards, including CARF requirements.
- Oversee the site's annual budget, financial performance, and expenditures.
- Promote a welcoming, recovery-oriented, and client-centered culture across the program.
- Foster strong communication and collaboration among clinical, administrative, and support teams.
- Build effective relationships with internal departments, community partners, and other key stakeholders.
- Participate in organizational leadership meetings, performance improvement initiatives, task forces, and strategic projects.
- Champion evidence-based practices and continuous quality improvement throughout the program.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Leadership & Team Development
As Executive Director, you will have the opportunity to directly influence the culture and success of the site by:
- Providing day-to-day leadership, guidance, and mentorship to the site team.
- Developing and supporting emerging leaders.
- Establishing clear expectations and promoting accountability.
- Recognizing and developing staff strengths and professional growth opportunities.
- Building a team culture centered on clinical excellence, collaboration, and compassionate care.
What We're Looking For
- Master's degree in a recognized clinical discipline from an accredited college or university, including a clinical practicum.
- Active Pennsylvania clinical licensure, such as LPC, LCSW, or LMFT.
- 2–5 years of supervisory, management, or program leadership experience, preferably within behavioral health, mental health, or substance use treatment.
- Strong understanding of behavioral health regulations, quality standards, and accreditation requirements.
- Demonstrated ability to balance clinical, operational, financial, and organizational priorities.
- Strong leadership, communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills.
- A commitment to evidence-based treatment, continuous improvement, and client-centered care.
- A passion for developing teams and creating an environment where both clients and employees can thrive.
