Australian Mortgage Loan Processor
Location: Eastwood, Quezon City, office based
Employment type: Full time, permanent
Position Summary
The Australian Mortgage Loan Processor is responsible for managing Australian residential mortgage applications from initial document collection and preparation through to settlement. The role involves direct communication with borrowers throughout the loan journey, reviewing supporting documents, preparing accurate loan applications, coordinating lender requirements and keeping clients informed of their application’s progress. The successful candidate must have strong knowledge of Australian mortgage processes, lender requirements, industry terminology and regulatory obligations, together with excellent customer service and telephone skills.
Key Responsibilities
Loan Application Processing
- Manage Australian mortgage applications from initial processing through to settlement.
- Prepare accurate and complete loan applications for submission to lenders.
- Review application information and confirm all required details have been provided.
- Submit applications through ApplyOnline and other relevant lender platforms.
- Track applications against key milestones, lender requirements and settlement deadlines.
- Follow up proactively to ensure applications continue progressing.
- Escalate delays, risks and outstanding matters promptly.
- Manage multiple active loan files while maintaining accuracy and service standards.
Client Liaison
- Liaise directly with clients throughout the loan journey.
- Explain documentation and lender requirements clearly and professionally.
- Request and follow up on outstanding information and supporting documents.
- Provide clients with regular and accurate application updates.
- Clarify incomplete or inconsistent information with clients.
- Respond promptly to client questions and concerns.
- Maintain a confident, professional and empathetic communication style over the telephone, email and Zoom.
- Conduct recorded video identification or security calls when required.
Document Collection and Review
- Collect identification, income, employment, financial, property and supporting documents.
- Review documents for completeness, accuracy, currency and consistency.
- Confirm that documents align with the information provided in the loan application.
- Identify missing, incomplete or inconsistent information requiring further clarification.
- Follow required document collection, verification and due diligence checklists.
- Maintain organised and complete client files.
- Escalate potential credit, compliance, fraud or documentation concerns.
Lender and Stakeholder Coordination
- Liaise with lenders regarding application status, outstanding conditions and additional requirements.
- Communicate with brokers, valuers, solicitors, conveyancers and other stakeholders.
- Assist with valuations, conditional approvals, formal approvals and loan documentation.
- Coordinate outstanding lender conditions and supporting documents.
- Monitor preparation, signing and return of loan documents.
- Assist with settlement preparation.
- Record settlement outcomes and post-settlement actions.
CRM, Pipeline and Compliance
- Maintain accurate records in SalesTrekker or the relevant CRM.
- Record client communication, lender updates, documents, milestones and next actions.
- Keep application statuses and follow-up dates current.
- Manage the loan pipeline proactively.
- Provide accurate pipeline updates and escalate stalled applications.
- Protect confidential information.
- Comply with Australian privacy, credit and responsible lending requirements.
- Follow internal policies and standards.
Role Requirements
- Minimum two years of direct Australian mortgage industry experience.
- Experience processing Australian mortgage applications end-to-end.
- Strong knowledge of Australian lender processes and documentation requirements.
- Experience preparing and submitting Australian loan applications.
- Experience liaising directly with Australian mortgage clients.
- Knowledge of approval, documentation and settlement processes.
- Excellent spoken and written English.
- Australian mortgage experience is mandatory.
Technical Skills
- Experience using mortgage CRM systems, preferably SalesTrekker.
- Experience using ApplyOnline.
- Experience using Australian lender portals and mortgage platforms.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Confidence using Zoom and online communication platforms.
Qualifications
- Certificate IV in Finance and Mortgage Broking preferred but not mandatory.
- Other relevant Australian mortgage qualifications highly regarded.
Preferred Experience
- Experience working for an Australian mortgage brokerage, lender, fintech or mortgage processing team.
- Experience processing residential mortgage applications across multiple Australian lenders.
- Exposure to secured lending, commercial lending or property backed finance.

- Candidates without relevant Australian mortgage industry experience will not be considered.
