We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Lean Senior Specialist to join our team in the Houston Service Center. The ideal candidate will have proven expertise in Lean principles and a strong commitment to continuous improvement, waste reduction, and operational efficiency.
In this role, you will lead the deployment of Lean methodologies across the organization and contribute to improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing efficiency, reducing waste, and strengthening overall operational performance. A strong commitment to HSE excellence and Sustainability is essential, as these pillars are integrated into all improvement activities.
Working under the guidance of senior Lean professionals, this position is hands-on, highly collaborative, and requires a proactive approach to driving Lean culture and process optimization throughout the organization.
As a Lean Senior Specialist, you will be responsible for:
Leading end-to-end analysis and redesign of operational processes, identifying waste, bottlenecks, variability drivers, and inefficiencies while developing sustainable improvement roadmaps aligned with business priorities.
Driving the deployment, evolution, and standardization of Lean tools and methodologies, including Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen, Kanban, 5S, Root Cause Analysis, and structured problem-solving techniques.
Acting as a Lean subject matter expert, coaching teams on best practices and adapting Lean tools to different operational environments and maturity levels.
Owning and strengthening Daily Lean Management routines through visual management systems, KPI reviews, escalation processes, and structured problem-solving practices.
Supporting performance improvement initiatives focused on Shop Turn Around Time, delivery, quality, safety, and productivity metrics.
Leading continuous improvement projects from problem definition through implementation, benefits realization, and sustainability planning.
Developing project charters, conducting data analysis, validating hypotheses, managing action plans, monitoring risks, and communicating results to stakeholders.
Supporting Houston Service Center volume growth and capability expansion to meet future business demands.
Designing and delivering Lean training programs, workshops, and coaching sessions across all organizational levels.
Promoting Lean thinking, standard work, and a structured problem-solving culture throughout the organization.
Facilitating collaboration among operations, quality, supply chain, engineering, and HSE teams to drive cross-functional improvements.
Leveraging network synergies through best-practice sharing, benchmarking activities, and cross-site learning initiatives.
Driving the identification, standardization, and deployment of successful Lean solutions across the network.
Supporting change adoption and fostering accountability, ownership, and sustainable implementation of improvements.
Defining, monitoring, and governing Lean-related KPIs to evaluate process performance and improvement effectiveness.
Analyzing trends and systemic issues while implementing corrective and preventive actions to achieve long-term operational excellence.
To be successful in this role you will:
Have a bachelor’s degree in engineering, Industrial Engineering, Production Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
Demonstrate excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken, with the ability to effectively engage cross-functional and multi-site stakeholders.
Have solid hands-on experience in Lean and Continuous Improvement within manufacturing, service, repair, or operational environments.
Possess a recognized Lean or Six Sigma certification, such as Green Belt or Black Belt, with proven experience applying the methodology and delivering measurable results.
Be proficient in Excel and data analysis, with the ability to build KPIs, analyze trends, and support data-driven decision-making.
Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify root causes and implement effective improvement actions.
Exhibit a proactive mindset with the ability to influence without authority, coach teams, and drive engagement across functions.
Demonstrate experience supporting the growth of Lean culture and Lean maturity across operational organizations.
Be comfortable operating in a networked environment, collaborating across sites, sharing best practices, and supporting standardization while respecting local operational requirements.
