Job Description
Job Responsibilities:
Lead Medline’s master data strategy and operating model, anchored by product master data. Establish a centralized Master Data Center of Excellence to govern policies, taxonomy, critical data elements, workflows, controls, and platform design, while fostering enterprise-wide data ownership and partnering with business and IS leaders to prioritize initiatives and deliver business value.
Lead organizational change by shifting capacity from manual execution to governance, stewardship, taxonomy, and automation, while establishing clear ownership boundaries and a workload-based operating model.
Work cross functionally to define and measure KPIs of the program in business terms, not only data metrics, tracking speed to revenue, search and conversion performance, complaint and return reduction, regulatory completeness, duplicate rate, downstream rejection rate and issue resolution time, and report data quality performance to senior leadership on a fixed cadence.
Drive the automation and AI agenda for master data, advancing intelligent data acquisition, classification, enrichment, and governance while championing industry-leading practices and cross-functional alignment.
Define and govern the enterprise product record and taxonomy standards, ensuring consistent product data, classification, and regulatory compliance across SAP, Informatica, and downstream platforms.
Lead enterprise data governance and quality management through defined standards, ownership, controls, monitoring, and continuous remediation across core data platforms.
Act as a key thought leader in defining Medline's overall data roadmap and data strategy, and determine how data assets are best leveraged in support of enterprise strategy.
Management responsibilities include:
Strategic, tactical and operational planning (12 + months) for the function or department
Direct budgetary responsibility for one or more departments, functions or major projects/programs
Interpret and execute policies for departments/projects and develops
Recommend and implement new policies or modifications to existing policies
Hiring staff, recommending pay increases, performing performance reviews, training and development of staff, estimating personnel needs, assigning work, meeting completion dates, interpreting and ensuring consistent application of organizational policies.
Minimum Job Requirements:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree.
Work Experience:
At least 7 years of data management experience in a technology, business management and/or consulting role.
At least 2 years of experience managing people, including hiring, developing, motivating and directing people as they work.
Additional:
Experience applying advanced knowledge of data manipulation and reporting tools.
Experience diagnosing, isolating, and resolving complex issues and recommending and implementing strategies to resolve problems.
Experience working with cross-functional teams and facilitating teams to identify and implement solutions to complex problems.
Experience with project management.
Experience with SAP and Informatica.

The anticipated salary range for this position:
$154,000.00 - $231,000.00 AnnualThe actual salary will vary based on applicant’s location, education, experience, skills, and abilities. This role is bonus and/or incentive eligible. Medline will not pay less than the applicable minimum wage or salary threshold.
