Job Description:

DEPARTMENT OVERVIEW 

For TD Bank Group (TD) to remain competitive, it is essential to selectively take and manage risks. TD acknowledges that having a strong risk culture and a robust approach to risk management is fundamental to our ongoing success. 

FCRM is responsible for compliance with anti-money laundering (AML), anti-terrorist financing, sanctions, and anti-bribery/anti-corruption legislation and prudential risk management across the global footprint of TD. We direct the design, content and enterprise-wide implementation of the FCRM Program at TD. FCRM teams act as proactive and trusted advisors to TD business lines while supporting a consistent, adaptable and effective culture across the organization. 

 

JOB DESCRIPTION 

About the Program 

If you can find clarity inside complexity, have a keen eye for research and a passion for procedure, this program is for you. Our 24-month Associate Program for new graduates is designed to attract, develop and retain top talent and build a leadership pipeline within FCRM. 

In this program you'll complete four customized, six-month rotations within FCRM where you may learn more about: 

  • Business Segment Oversight/Advisory Teams 

  • Financial Intelligence Unit 

  • Centralized Sanctions Group 

  • Policy, Training, and Governance 

We align rotation opportunities with our business strategies to ensure you work on the most important priorities. 

What You'll Do

Make an Impact 

  • Use your strong communication, analytical and problem-solving skills to add value to each rotation you're assigned 

  • Provide a range of research, analysis, advisory and operational support to internal team members and/or business groups on AML, sanctions, ABAC, compliance matters and related program risks 

  • Use your strong communication, analytical and problem-solving skills to add value to projects you’re assigned 

  • Define opportunities for continued enhancements to departmental processes and make recommendations within assigned areas of responsibility 

Experience Growth 

  • Build a diverse skill set, implement process improvements and develop the confidence to tackle challenging tasks in an entirely new area of each line of business rotation 

  • Receive feedback and mentorship from senior management. You’ll connect with senior management and gain valuable experience from experts at the top of their game who can help you develop your leadership skills 

  • Learn from your dedicated mentor(s) throughout your 24-month rotation 

Cultivate Our Culture of Care 

  • Interact with other Associates to share learnings and network within the organization 

  • Develop strong relationships to help identify collaborative opportunities and coordinate efforts with other Risk groups 

  • Be supported by a robust team of colleagues, peers and advisors to ensure your growth, development and success

JOB REQUIREMENTS 

What You Need to Succeed

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Access, Tableau, Power Point, Power Pivot) 

  • Strong conceptual, analytical and problem-solving skills; can see the “big picture” in a complex or ambiguous environment 

  • Ability to develop solid business relationships with clients, business partners and stakeholders 

  • Well organized; can prioritize multiple tasks and deliver results on multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment 

  • Strong communicator with the ability to impact and influence others; demonstrated presentation skills 

  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion 

  • Desire to work in a caring, respectful and inclusive environment where all employees are supported 

 

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION 

Educational Requirements; Must be graduated between May 2025 and May 2027 with a bachelor's degree in a business-related field. 

Program Location and Start Date: Toronto-based program which starts in July 2027. Candidates must have graduated prior to start (including final grades, excluding convocation).
