## Engineer for Developing Metrology Processes
メトロロジー プロセス開発エンジニアは、次世代DRAMおよびHBM技術を支える先端半導体計測ソリューションの開発、評価、導入を担当します。本ポジションでは、プロセスインテグレーション、製造部門、歩留まり改善チーム、および装置サプライヤーと密接に連携し、強固な計測戦略の構築、プロセス管理の向上、およびMicronの最先端メモリ製品開発の加速を推進します。
主な職務内容 (Key Responsibilities)
- 先端DRAM/HBM技術ノード向けの新規計測手法の開発および認定を行う。
- 重要工程に対するプロセス管理戦略を策定し、モニタリング計画を構築する。
- 新規計測装置および測定技術の評価・導入を推進する。
- 実験データおよび量産データを解析し、測定精度、装置マッチング性能、生産効率を向上させる。
- プロセスインテグレーション、製造、歩留まり改善、装置エンジニアリングなどの各部門と連携する。
- 計測装置ベンダーとの技術レビューおよびサプライヤーエンゲージメントを主導する。
- 設備投資計画(Capital Planning)、設備導入正当化、設置、立上げ、認定業務を支援する。
- プロセス変動および計測性能に関する課題解決活動をリードする。
- AIを活用した業務遂行方法
必須資格 (Minimum Qualifications)
- 電気工学、材料科学、物理学、化学、化学工学、または関連分野の学士号取得者。
- 優れた分析力および問題解決能力を有すること。
- クロスファンクショナルチームおよびグローバルチームで効果的に業務を遂行できること。
- 英語による良好なコミュニケーション能力を有すること。

## Position Summary
Engineer for Metrology Process Development
The Metrology Process Development Engineer is responsible for developing, evaluating, and deploying innovative semiconductor metrology solutions to support next-generation DRAM and HBM technologies. This role collaborates closely with Process Integration, Manufacturing, Yield Improvement, and equipment suppliers to establish reliable metrology strategies, enhance process control, and speed up technology development for Micron's groundbreaking memory products.
## Key Responsibilities
- Develop and qualify new metrology methodologies for advanced DRAM/HBM technology nodes.
- Define process control strategies and establish monitoring plans for critical process modules.
- Evaluate and introduce new metrology tools and measurement capabilities.
- Analyze experimental and production data to improve measurement accuracy, matching performance, and manufacturing efficiency.
- Work together with cross-functional groups such as Process Integration, Manufacturing, Yield, and Equipment Engineering.
- Drive supplier engagement and technical reviews with metrology vendors.
- Support capital planning, tool justification, installation, qualification, and ramp activities.
- Lead problem-solving activities related to process variation and metrology performance.
- AI-enabled ways of working
## Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in cross-functional and global teams.
- Good communication skills in English.
- AI proficiency
## Preferred Qualifications
- Semiconductor process or metrology experience.
- Knowledge of XRD, SIMS, OCD, Scatterometry, CD-SEM, Film Metrology, or related techniques.
- Experience with statistical data analysis and process control methodologies.
- Experience working with advanced memory technologies (DRAM, HBM, NAND).
