Primary Responsibilities

The candidate is expected to join the HK/China Transportation team. The team has been voted as the No.1 in the 2026 Institutional Investor Asia Research survey.

  • Responsible for sector and company research and report drafting
  • Perform detailed research analysis both quantitatively and qualitatively based on deep knowledge and understanding of fundamentals
  • Address client requests in a timely fashion, including performing the underlying analysis and drafting communication documents and emails
  • Conduct live client interaction including in-person meetings, live calls, webcasts and ad-hoc interactions

QUALIFICATIONS

Skills required (essential)

  • Experience in equity research within a top tier sell side or buy side firm
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in equity research or relevant areas is preferred
  • Strong accounting knowledge and modelling skills
  • Proactive learner and ability to work under pressure
  • Excellent communication skills both in writing and in live client interaction
  • Fluent in Mandarin Chinese and English (reading and writing)
