POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive AV Solutions Engineer to join our team on a temporary fixed-term basis, supporting a key client across the EMEA region. Based in London, this role will play a critical part in the delivery of workplace technology and audiovisual initiatives, ensuring consistent standards, successful project execution, and an exceptional user experience across the client's office portfolio.

The AV Solutions Engineer will work closely with our client’s internal technology teams, project stakeholders, consultants, contractors, and strategic vendors to support the design, deployment, and lifecycle management of enterprise AV and collaboration solutions. The role will focus on delivering technology projects, supporting office technology standards, and providing technical expertise for conference room and workplace technology environments throughout the EMEA region.

Success in this position requires strong AV engineering expertise, project delivery experience, excellent stakeholder management skills, and the ability to work effectively within a dynamic, project-focused environment. The ideal candidate will be comfortable managing multiple priorities while ensuring solutions are delivered to the highest technical and operational standards.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Collaborate effectively with our client and key stakeholders to deliver AV and workplace technology projects across the EMEA region.
  • Support the design, deployment, and implementation of audiovisual and collaboration technology solutions in line with agreed standards and project requirements.
  • Coordinate project schedules, risks, dependencies, and stakeholder communications to ensure successful delivery.
  • Work with internal teams, consultants, contractors, and technology partners to support office fit-outs, refurbishments, and technology refresh programmes.
  • Manage vendor engagement and coordinate engineers, programmers, and installation partners throughout project delivery activities.
  • Support the maintenance and enhancement of conference room and collaboration technologies across the EMEA estate.
  • Assist in the development and upkeep of technical documentation, deployment standards, project reports, change requests, and handover documentation.
  • Perform system validation, troubleshooting, and issue resolution during project delivery and transition to support teams.
  • Provide technical expertise for AV technologies including video-over-IP, switching, DSPs, audio systems, control systems, and conferencing technologies.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to enhance user experience, operational efficiency, and technology adoption.
  • Build strong working relationships with our client and business stakeholders to ensure project objectives and user requirements are successfully met.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED

  • 3+ years' experience delivering enterprise AV, workplace technology, or unified communications projects.
  • Strong understanding of AV system design, integration, deployment, and commissioning.
  • Experience supporting corporate office fit-outs, refurbishment programmes, or technology refresh initiatives.
  • Experience working with video-over-IP, switching, DSPs, audio distribution, control systems, and conferencing technologies.
  • Ability to interpret architectural drawings, engineering documentation, construction schedules, and technical specifications.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience coordinating third-party vendors and managing project deliverables across multiple locations.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365, project management platforms, and AV design/documentation tools.
  • Ability to travel within the EMEA region as required for project delivery and stakeholder engagement.
  • Self-motivated, organised, and capable of managing multiple priorities within a fast-paced project environment.
  • Commitment to operational excellence, technology innovation, and continuous improvement.
