Job Description:
Senior BIM Specialist – Wet Utilities
Dubai, UAE
What you’ll be doing
Develop, manage, and coordinate BIM models for wet utilities (water, irrigation, firefighting, sewerage, stormwater, TSE, pumping stations, corridors).
Lead BIM delivery from project initiation through detailed design, IFC\text{IFC}IFC, and construction support.
Coordinate multidisciplinary BIM models to resolve clashes, interface issues, and utility conflicts.
Prepare and manage BEP\text{BEP}BEP, modelling standards, and project BIM procedures.
Perform model QA/QC\text{QA/QC}QA/QC, audits, data validation, and clash detection; produce assurance and clash reports, quantities, and BIM deliverables.
Maintain utility corridors, cross‑sections, BIM libraries, templates, and parametric components.
Support digital engineering (automation, digital twins, GIS integration, CDE\text{CDE}CDE implementation, AI-enabled workflows).
Mentor and guide BIM Coordinators, Technicians, and CAD Designers and support continuous improvement of Parsons BIM standards.
What required skills you’ll bring
Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Civil 3D, Navisworks, AutoCAD, InfraWorks, ProjectWise, ACC\text{ACC}ACC.
Strong understanding of wet utilities engineering and multidisciplinary BIM coordination/clash management.
Advanced knowledge of BIM Level 2, ISO 19650\text{ISO 19650}ISO 19650, CDE\text{CDE}CDE, and information management.
Experience preparing BEP\text{BEP}BEP, TIDP\text{TIDP}TIDP, MIDP\text{MIDP}MIDP and developing BIM standards, libraries, templates, and parametric components.
Strong QA/QC\text{QA/QC}QA/QC, model auditing, and digital delivery skills, plus excellent communication and leadership/mentoring capabilities.
Relevant degree/diploma in Civil Engineering, BIM or CAD Technology, and 10+10+10+ years’ BIM/CAD experience with wet utilities/infrastructure.
Proven track record leading BIM delivery for multidisciplinary infrastructure projects.
What desired skills you’ll bring
Experience automating BIM workflows (e.g., Dynamo, Civil 3D automation, scripting).
Experience integrating BIM with GIS and hydraulic modelling platforms.
Autodesk Certified Professional (Civil 3D, Revit, or Navisworks).
buildingSMART\text{buildingSMART}buildingSMART and/or ISO 19650\text{ISO 19650}ISO 19650 certification or strong practical experience.
Experience working with local authorities, clients, contractors, and cross‑functional digital delivery and quality teams.
