About the Opportunity:

We’re currently seeking a motivated Cook to join our food services team at St Vincent’s Private Hospital Brisbane on a casual basis.  In this role you will provide an important role in preparing nutritious, high-quality meals to support that the wellbeing of our patients.

About you:

• Minimum of two years’ experience as a Cook

• Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent recognised qualification)

• Current Food Hygiene certification

• Previous experience in a commercial kitchen (hospital or aged care is desirable but not essential)

• Demonstrable experience and knowledge in food preparation, hygiene and infection control procedures.

• Demonstrated knowledge in Workplace Health and Safety and safe manual handling practices

• Availability to work on a casual basis a variety of shifts over a 7-day rotating roster, weekends
