Description
Are you a motivated people leader with a passion for operations, reconciliations, and continuous improvement? We're looking for an experienced Team Leader Reconciliations to lead a high-performing team responsible for delivering critical reconciliation and transaction processing activities in a dynamic banking environment.
You will be responsible for coaching and developing a team of reconciliation specialists while ensuring operational excellence, service delivery and risk management outcomes are achieved. Reporting to the Manager, Transaction Processing & Controls, you'll play a pivotal role in driving team performance, managing workflow priorities and fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement.
What You'll Do
Empower and develop a team of approximately 10 employees.
Manage daily workflow allocation and resource planning.
Continuous Improvement & Change through championing process optimisation and operational efficiencies
Foster a strong risk and compliance culture through identifying, assessing and remediating operational risks.
What We're Looking For
Previous experience leading operational or reconciliation teams within banking or financial services.
Strong finance and accounting knowledge.
Proven ability to manage performance, develop talent and build engaged teams.
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
Experience managing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Demonstrated success in driving process improvement and operational efficiency.
Sound understanding of risk, controls and compliance obligations
