Job Description
In Bogotá - Colombia we are looking for a Lead Production Artist who is print-led, digital-savvy production leader responsible for leading complexcampaigns and overseeing high-quality production across print and digital channels. This role manages thecreation of final mechanicals and production-ready assets for Direct Mail, Print Ads, Point of Sale (POS),Out of Home (OOH), large-format, and Static Digital deliverables while leading a team of ProductionArtists.The ideal candidate combines deep production expertise with strong people leadership, using professionalconcepts and company objectives to resolve complex production challenges in creative and effective ways.This role partners closely with the Studio Director (US-based), cross-functional stakeholders, and externalpartners to ensure quality, consistency, efficiency, and on-time delivery. The Lead Production Artistmanages three or more direct reports and is responsible for mentoring, performance management, hiring,and employee development
Responsibilities
Lead the execution of complex print and digital production projects across multiple channels, ensuring all deliverables meet brand, creative, technical, and quality standards. Serve as a print production expert, overseeing final artwork, production-ready files, prepress processes, color management, and high-volume versioned content, while maintaining advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud.
Drive operational excellence by solving complex production challenges, improving workflows, and implementing best practices, automation, and templating solutions to enhance efficiency, scalability, and quality control across production operations.
Oversee the creation and adaptation of static digital assets, including web banners, display advertising, social media content, and digital campaigns, ensuring consistency with creative intent and technical requirements across platforms.
Lead, mentor, and develop Production Artists, fostering a collaborative, high-performance culture focused on quality, accountability, continuous learning, and professional growth, while supporting onboarding, training, staffing, and workforce planning initiatives.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, clients, vendors, and external partners, acting as a trusted production advisor. Leverage innovative technologies, including AI-driven tools, to optimize workflows, improve content quality, and support efficient delivery of creative solutions.
Qualifications
• Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud including InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.• Advanced knowledge of print production, prepress, color management, mechanical development, and filepreparation.• Strong understanding of static digital production requirements, asset specifications, and adaptation workflows.• Experience with production automation and templating solutions including EZ Catalog, Chili Publish, or similartechnologies.• Comfortable working with data-driven production inputs, versioning, and large-scale adaptation programs.• Knowledge and practical application of AI-enabled creative production tools.• Strong expertise in print production, mechanical building, and prepress.• 7+ years of experience as a Production Artist within an agency, studio, or in-house creative environment.• Previous experience leading, mentoring, or managing production teams.• Experience managing three or more direct reports preferred.• Demonstrated expertise in print manufacturing processes, production workflows, and final file delivery.• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.• English proficiency: Intermediate-Advanced preferred to collaborate with US-based stakeholders.• Availability to collaborate with US teams during agreed overlap hours as required.• Commitment to ongoing professional development and continuous learning.• Ability to consistently deliver high-quality work that meets technical specifications and deadlines
