How you'll make an impact in this role
Develop and implement music therapy treatment plans.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct patient assessments and establishe music therapy treatment goals.
- Evaluate each patient's progress and the effectiveness of music therapy interventions.
- Coordinate therapeutic music activities for both large and small groups. Observe patient response and encourage socialization.
- Provide patient with information regarding resources and therapeutic music activities in the community.
What minimum qualifications you'll need
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
- Registered or Board Certified Music Therapist required
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Music Therapy required. Master's degree preferred.
