Description
Responsibility Profile:
Performs mechanical repairs and services to equipment daily.
Performs motor and gear box changes and maintenance.
Contribute to daily start-up and monthly department meetings ensuring thorough communication to associates.
Manage and monitor the performance and efficiency of repair operations.
Actively participate in technical and safety training programs.
Perform computer-related activities as necessary to accomplish tasks, including the work management and project scheduling systems, Computer Aided Design (CAD) programs, e-mail, calendar, and spreadsheets.
Directs Maintenance Mechanics to maintain plant equipment safely and properly with the goal of 100% reliability and minimum downtime for unexpected repairs.
Covers operations and maintenance positions as required.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Pay range: $25-$35 p/h depending on experience
Qualifications
Three (3) years of transportation mechanic experience.
High school diploma.
