Job Description

As a Security Officer Unarmed Mobile Patrol in De Soto, KS, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In this role, you will support daily operations with integrity, teamwork, and a caring approach while contributing to an agile, reliable, and innovative environment.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, office areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity, unsecured access points, and/or conditions that may require follow-up.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials when required, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas, equipment spaces, and/or other designated locations.
• Support daily operations by reporting maintenance concerns, policy violations, and/or suspicious behavior, while following Allied Universal post orders and client-specific expectations.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
