Report To: Facilities Superintendent
Position: Full-time Hourly/Non-Exempt
Location: In-person
Monday - Friday 8:30 - 5pm
General Purpose
Ensures the materials and communications are moved from place to place in a timely fashion to support the credit union’s general operation. Performs minor maintenance and repairs and handles collateral/vehicle detailing.
Collateral Essential Duties/Responsibilities
- Receive repossessed collateral/vehicle to include inspecting and storing personal items.
- Perform light duties such as inflating tires, adding water or coolant, changing batteries, jumping off and other duties as needed to prepare collateral for sale.
- Cleaning of the collateral/vehicles like removing trash and personal items. Determine if the collateral needs to be sent out for heavy cleaning.
- Personal items will be stored for at least 60 days unless the member claims them prior to that date. Dispose of unclaimed items after 60 days.
- For collateral sold at Kinetic, take pictures and send to marketing for posting on website.
- Work with Payment Services Manager and Payment Services Specialist with collateral details.
- Show collateral/vehicles to potential buyers.
- Assist repossession companies with ensuring the collateral/vehicle is dropped off in the designated gated parking area.
Facilities Essential Duties/Responsibilities
- Delivers and retrieves supplies and materials to and from branches and on- and off-site storage areas. This includes miscellaneous errands and deliveries as assigned.
- Processes outgoing mail through the postal meter and delivers registered mail to the post office. Transports trays of mail to and from the Post Office daily.
- Ensures sufficient postage is available in postage meter.
- Disburses delivery cartons within the credit union.
- Picks up documents from various locations as assigned.
- Delivers bulk supplies to designated areas of the credit union.
- Prepares small repairs to include carpentry, plumbing, painting etc.
- Performs other upkeep duties at facilities and ATMs.
- Answers the Repair email group, handling various repairs and maintenance.
- Maintains all lighting, which includes changing bulbs and cleaning.
- Assists with maintenance of business equipment and building facilities; coordinates service repairs when necessary.
- Assists with assembly of furniture and equipment, when necessary.
Additional Duties/Responsibilities
- Completes SAN (Suspicious Activity Narrative) when applicable according to policies and procedures set forth by Kinetic Credit Union, in accordance to BSA/AML regulations, and turns over to appropriate parties in a timely manner
- Attend annual training on BSA/AML to remain current on any changes to these policies and procedures and remain compliant
- Participates in the Community Involvement goals of the credit union.
- Responsible for completing Information Security Awareness training as directed by management.
- Responsible for complying with GLBA, Safe Act, Regs B, D, E, CC, Z and other regulatory requirements.
- Performs additional duties as directed by management.
Requirements
Job Qualifications
- This position requires a high school diploma or the equivalent, and a commensurate level of language, math and reasoning skills.
- In addition, two years of relevant experience is preferred.
- Formal training should be supplemented with appropriate continuing education.
- Because work is required at multiple credit union facilities and other locations, the employee must have a valid driver’s license and an excellent driving record.
Technology Requirements
- Employees must have smartphone (iOS or Android) to access company applications for tasks and security purposes.
- Employees must install and use designated apps for access control and two-factor authentication to access company systems.
Supervisory Responsibilities
None.
Work Environment/Physical Activities
- This position requires a physically active person with the ability to bend, kneel and walk up and down stairs frequently.
- This is a year-round position involving both indoor and outdoor work, with exposure to varying weather conditions including heat, cold, rain, and humidity.
- Must be able to lift, carry, bend, twist, and move items weighing up to 60 pounds regularly.
- Must be able to operate a two-wheeled dolly to move heavy objects.
- Physical tasks involving collateral (ex. vehicles) include:
- Inflating vehicle tires
- Adding water or coolant
- Changing vehicle batteries
- Jump-starting vehicles
- Performing other duties necessary to prepare collateral for sale
- The job calls for a high degree of mental concentration to interpret and act upon a wide range of situations, as well as attention to details.
- Job requires access to credit union’s network and core data processing system. Core system roles are assigned by Divisional Vice President.
