As a SAP Senior System Architect based in Barcelona, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of Arxada’s global SAP landscape. You will contribute by designing and guiding high‑performing, scalable, and secure SAP solutions that enable our digital transformation and operational excellence. This position sits within our Information Technology function and supports both our business and project teams across the organization. Essential Job Functions
- Lead the architecture and design of enterprise‑wide SAP landscapes to ensure scalability, performance, and security.
- Define and govern SAP technical strategy, standards, and architectural guidelines aligned with Arxada’s long‑term objectives.
- Architect cross‑module SAP solutions and integrations across hybrid environments (cloud and on‑premise).
- Design and oversee integrations using SAP CPI, SAP PO/PI, ABAP, APIs, IDocs, RFCs and OData services.
- Guide the development of SAP Business Workflow and process automation solutions.
- Provide strong technical leadership, ensuring adherence to development standards and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering or a related field.
- Extensive experience (5–10 years) in SAP architecture, development and enterprise integration.
- Advanced expertise with SAP CPI, SAP PO/PI, APIs, ABAP, JavaScript or Python, IDocs, HTML, RFCs and secure data transfer technologies.
- Strong understanding of SAP Business Workflow, SAP BTP and hybrid cloud‑to‑on‑premise integrations.
- Demonstrated ability to provide technical leadership, collaborate with diverse stakeholders, and translate business needs into scalable technical solutions.
- Fluent English (C1/C2); Spanish at intermediate level is beneficial.
- Relevant SAP certifications (preferred).
