Overview
Engine Systems, Inc. is hiring a Shop Electrician I in our Rocky Mount, NC facility. 27804
Responsibilities
- Assembly of control panels and associated components:
- Layout and mount various electrical and mechanical components
- Panel wiring in accordance with provided drawings
- Perform functional testing in accordance with established procedures
- Fabrication of various in-house designed sheet metal components
- Bending and forming of rigid conduit and various tubing materials
- Perform special testing as required
- Perform troubleshooting of electrical control systems
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or Associates Degree in Electrical / Electronics preferred, but not required.
- Electrical AC/DC theory.
- Must be able to read and understand electrical schematics, wiring diagrams and layout drawings.
- Knowledge of mechanical, electrical and control systems a plus.
- Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint preferred, but not required
- Self-motivated and multi-task oriented with good organizational skills
