Role Responsibilities
- Identify and provide accurate parts for internal and external customers to ensure timely vehicle service.
- Receive, stock, and maintain inventory with precision, including cycle counts and proper stocking levels.
- Process shipments and returns, including incorrect or defective parts, ensuring vendor compliance.
- Control supplies to minimize waste and maintain cost efficiency.
- Allocate parts using CarMax systems for seamless workflow and accurate documentation.
- Deliver exceptional customer service through clear communication and problem-solving.
- Follow CarMax Environmental, Health and Safety (EH&S) requirements and maintain a clean and orderly work area.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to read, interpret, and record data accurately for inventory and transactions.
- Intermediate PC skills, including spreadsheet proficiency.
- Strong collaboration skills to work effectively across departments.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods.
- Effective verbal communication skills for customer and team interactions.
- Completion of CarMax-provided training in all parts processes.
