Role

We are seeking a talented and passionate Pastry Demi Chef who embodies Aman’s commitment to culinary excellence and creativity to join Amanzoe, in the Peloponnese, Greece. Reporting to the Pastry Chef, the successful candidate will support the daily operations of the pastry section and assist in the preparation of refined pastries, desserts and bakery items across the resort. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated culinary professional with a passion for pastry craftsmanship and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and presentation of pastries, desserts and bakery items across the resort’s outlets.

• Ensure consistency, quality and presentation in line with Aman’s culinary standards.

• Support the pastry team with daily mise en place and production requirements.

• Maintain a clean and organised workstation in accordance with HACCP standards.

• Assist with seasonal pastry items, special requests and event preparations.

• Ensure proper storage, handling and rotation of ingredients and finished products.

• Monitor stock levels and communicate replenishment needs when required.

• Report equipment maintenance needs and uphold kitchen safety procedures at all times.

Requirements

• Professional diploma in Food Production with pastry specialisation from a recognised culinary school.

• At least 1–2 years of experience in a similar pastry role within a five-star hotel or fine dining restaurant.

• Creativity and passion for pastry, dessert creation and presentation.

• Excellent attention to detail with strong organisational and time management skills.

• A collaborative mindset with a disciplined and proactive work ethic.

• Basic knowledge of food hygiene and HACCP procedures.

• Fluency in English is desirable but not essential.

• You must have the legal right to live and work in Greece.
