[What the role is]
You will support the administration, configuration, and optimisation of the Integrated Library System (ILS), LibGuides, and other technology platforms, ensuring reliable and seamless access to information resources for MAS users.[What you will be working on]
The Statistics and Library Division (SLD), within the Enterprise Knowledge Department, supports MAS by providing access to timely, relevant, and high-quality information resources. As MAS Library modernises its system and digital services, it is strengthening its capabilities to better support users’ evolving research, information discovery, and digital access needs.
This role provides additional technical and project support during this period of transformation. You will help maintain the stability and effectiveness of library technology platforms while contributing to system implementation, enhancement, and transition activities.
You will support the administration, configuration, and optimisation of the Integrated Library System (ILS), LibGuides, and other technology platforms, ensuring reliable and seamless access to information resources for MAS users. The role will also contribute to digital content management, workflow automation, and digitisation initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and user experience.
[What we are looking for]
We are looking for candidates with:
A university degree, preferably with relevant experience in library, information management, or digital systems.
Good organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to coordinate tasks, and follow through on operational requirements.
Comfort working with digital tools and systems, and a willingness to support process improvements and service enhancements.
Good interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
This is a 1-year contract position. As part of the shortlisting process for this role, you may be required to complete a medical declaration and/or undergo further assessment.
