About the role:

We’ve currently looking for a motivated Health Information Clerk to join our busy team at St Vincent’s Private Hospital Northside on a casual basis. This is a great opportunity for a detailed-orientated clerk to provide timely administrative support, while ensuring compliance, privacy and confidentiality.   

Some of the key responsibilities in this role could include:

• Preparing, retrieving, preparing and archiving patient medical records

• Scanning, uploading and maintaining patient medical records

• Supporting clinicians throughout the hospital with timely access for medical records

• Undertaking general administrative duties with the Health Informatics department

Things that work for us: 

• Previous experience in a medical records, health information services or healthcare administration is highly desirable

• Strong attention to detail with

• Previous experience in perioperative or acute care (desirable but not essential)

• High level of computer literacy (electronic medical record systems advantageous)

Our hospital has 227 beds, 9 operating theatres, 2 cardiac catheter laboratories, a 17-bed Intensive Care Unit (ICU), Day Oncology Unit, Breast Health Centre, Endoscopy Unit, Cardiac Rehabilitation Unit and a 24-hour, private emergency centre provided by Brisbane Northside Emergency.
