Description
We are looking for a motivated and knowledgeable individual to join our model development team within ALM Model Development – Assets.
The team
You will be part of our model development team, working on ALM models and behavioural models that capture customer behaviour over time. The team collaborates closely to analyse results and support internal stakeholders with insights.
Roles and responsibilities
You will be responsible for:
Developing, implementing and maintaining ALM models, including data input, model calibration, and scenario analysis
Collaborating with the team to develop behavioural models that capture customer behaviour over time
Conducting sensitivity analysis and stress testing of the ALM models to assess the impact of various risk factors on the financial projections
Analysing results to identify potential areas of risk or opportunity
Preparing presentations and reports for internal stakeholders

A background in quantitative studies such as Econometrics, Mathematics, Engineering or Physics to support strong analytical work
Additional professional qualifications in the financial risk field (e.g. CFA, FRM), or willingness to obtain them, to deepen expertise
Experience with model development in large financial institutions to contribute effectively from the start
Hands-on experience with retail prepayment modelling to support accurate behavioural modelling
Experience with hedging models and understanding of EVE and NPV frameworks to assess financial risks and outcomes
Experience with wholesale banking behavioural modelling to strengthen modelling capabilities across portfolios
Experience with Python, Git, SQL and complex code repositories to develop and maintain models efficiently
A proactive and analytical mindset to identify risks and opportunities in model outputs
Strong communication skills to collaborate and present insights clearly to stakeholders
A problem-solving attitude and determination to deliver work on time
