About the role
We are currently looking for Deputy Team Leader who will Support project and business operations through financial monitoring, invoice and payment follow-up, delivery and resource management support, contract administration assistance, and proposal preparation. The role is responsible for reviewing the financial status of ongoing projects, coordinating with finance teams and clients on invoice submission and payment receipt, and assisting the Team Leader in monitoring deliverables, resources, and operational requirements. It also supports the Team Leader/Deputy Team Leader and Functional General Managers in preparing contracts, variation agreement proposals, replacement proposals, EOIs, technical proposals, and financial proposals in line with client requirements, RFP instructions, contractual obligations, and organizational standards. The incumbent will coordinate with internal teams, technical experts, finance personnel, and management to ensure accurate documentation, timely submissions, effective project support, and improved delivery performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the Team Leader in conducting feasibility study, detailed design, and tendering services for all projects identified during the study.
Assist the Team Leader to manage and superintend day-to-day working of experts/staff and utilization of available resources with successful planning, execution, monitoring, risk management, quality control, time and cost management, and closure of a project.
Coordinate among experts, sub-consultants, the Employer, other government agencies, and donor agencies.
Support the Team Leader in reviewing project requirements, study findings, site information, technical data, and relevant documents required for feasibility study and design activities.
Assist in preparing and coordinating detailed design inputs, reports, drawings, specifications, BOQ, cost estimates, and other technical documents as required for project development.
Support tendering services by assisting in the preparation, review, and compilation of tender documents, technical schedules, evaluation inputs, and related submission materials.
About You:
Graduation in Civil or Relevant field
20 years total professional experience, preferably 12 years’ experience in railway field.
8 years’ experience in similar type feasibility study and design consultancy, including preferably 5 years’ experience as Project Manager/Team Leader/Deputy Team Leader or similar post for similar type consultancy.
Working experience in FIDIC Projects and SAARC region would be preferable.
