Your Role

Key responsibilities in your new role

• Accountable for one or more global procurement categories and its suppliers, acting as main interface to major suppliers. Develops and implements category/supplier strategies, collaborating closely with key internal stakeholders (e.g. Divisions, OP) as well as other Procurement job sub-families.
• Defines, monitors and acts on related KPIs (e.g. savings, payment terms, etc.). Sources competitively in global markets, for best suppliers and solutions that fulfill Infineon‘s product & cost requirements, leading major, global negotiations & contracting.
• Applies best in class procurement methods, e.g. cost modelling, benchmarking, advanced negotiation methods, design for sourcing, monetized TCO, to enable comprehensive value analysis, negotiation events and decision making. Utilizes market intelligence to build resilient supply chains (incl. managing supply crises & recovery) and optimize the TCO.

Your Profile

Qualifications and skills to help you succeed

• a relevant vocational training (3+ years) and a particularly extensive subject-specific additional qualification
• a relevant completed study with a duration of 4 years and subject-specific additional qualification or by a relevant completed study (+4 years)
• the total knowledge and skills can also be acquired in other ways
• 9+ years relevant working experience
