Job Description – Senior Finance Manager
Location: Andheri East, Mumbai(Hybrid)

Role Purpose
The Finance Manager will be responsible for financial planning, reporting, compliance, cash flow management, process improvements, ERP implementation, and team leadership to support management decision-making and ensure strong financial governance.
Key Responsibilities
1. Financial Planning & Budgeting
- Prepare annual budgets in collaboration with department heads.
- Drive rolling forecasts and quarterly re-forecasting based on business performance.
- Monitor budget vs. actuals monthly and analyze variances with clear justifications.
- Identify cost optimization and margin improvement opportunities across departments
- Support management with financial insights for planning and cost control.
2. Financial Reporting & Management Reporting
- Prepare and present MIS reports to senior management for decision-making.
- Ensure closure of books within defined timelines -
- Prepare ad-hoc financial and operational reports as required.
- Liaise with auditors for statutory and tax audits.
3. Taxation & Compliance
- Ensure timely and accurate filing of GST, TDS, Income Tax returns, and other statutory compliances.
- Monitor changes in tax laws and ensure organizational compliance.
4. Accounts Payable & Receivable
- Monitor receivables and outstanding reports to ensure healthy working capital.
- Manage vendor payments in line with contractual terms including rent, housekeeping, and other services.
- Ensure proper controls over payables and receivables.
5. Cash Flow & Treasury Management
- Forecast weekly, and monthly cash flow requirements.
- Manage banking relationships, working capital limits, and financial instruments.
- Oversee allocation and investment of surplus funds.
6. Process Improvement & Controls
- Lead finance automation initiatives (AP, AR, reconciliations, reporting).
- Review accounting processes and recommend efficiency improvements including revenue reconciliation and expense automation.
- Ensure accurate and timely recording of all financial transactions.
- Strengthen internal controls and risk management processes.
7. Team Leadership & Coordination
- Supervise and mentor the accounts and finance team.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth financial operations.
- Drive accountability and performance within the finance function.
8. Audit & Liaison
- Coordinate with statutory auditors to ensure smooth audit completion.
- Ensure audit observations are addressed and implemented within defined timelines.
- Coordinate with Company Secretary to ensure all regulatory compliances are completed on time.
Key Skills & Competencies
- Strong financial planning, reporting, and compliance knowledge.
- Experience with ERP systems and process automation.
- Power BI/ Advanced excel skills would be a good add on.
- Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work closely with senior management and cross-functional teams.
