JOB DESCRIPTION

JOB TITLE: QA In-Process Technician REPORTS TO: QA Team Leader

POSITION PURPOSE A brief summary of the purpose this position must fulfill.

Ensures that manufacturing facilities and equipment’s are in optimum conditions and are adequately cleaned before use, preventing cross-contamination, and maintaining product quality. This involves performing visual inspections, documenting results, and collaborating with production teams to address any cleaning-related issues.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES To perform this position successfully, an individual must satisfactorily perform each essential duty. Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential duties.

1. Conduct routine inspections of facilities, equipment, and infrastructure to ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.

2. Perform and document equipment cleaning verifications, ensuring cleaning procedures are followed and meet established standards.

3. Identify and report facility-related non-conformities and recommend corrective actions. 4. Collaborate with engineering, and operations teams to address cleaning-related issues,

implement corrective actions, and optimize cleaning processes. 5. Perform facilities and cleaning clearance activities to verify that equipment and areas are

properly cleaned and ready for production. 6. Provide training and support to production personnel on proper cleaning techniques and

procedures. 7. Participate in internal and external audits related to cleaning practices and support audit

readiness activities. 8. Support continuous improvement initiatives and facility upgrades.

KNOWLEDGE • Must possess knowledge of:

o Quality and Compliance Systems. o FDA and International Regulations. o Experience with cleaning validation and verification processes.

AVAILABILITY

• Available to work first, second or third shift and provide support during weekends and after working hours.

SUPERVISION

Position functions semi-autonomously.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

• Associate or Technical Degree in Engineering, Biology, Chemistry, Pharmacy, or equivalent. • At least two (2) years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, QA or Manufacturing

environment preferred. • However, a combination of experience and education will be considered.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Professional

Ability to read and interpret moderate business and/or technical documents. Ability to write basic reports and simple business correspondence. Ability to work with team leaders or managers and communicate ambiguous concepts.
