We're looking for a motivated, organized, and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join our growing team.
Position Summary
The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of materials and products into and out of our facility. This position works closely with suppliers, freight carriers, production, purchasing, customer service, and receiving to coordinate deliveries, resolve shipping issues, and keep production running without interruption.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments with freight carriers and vendors.
- Schedule deliveries and pickups to support production needs.
- Track purchase orders and shipments to ensure on-time delivery.
- Communicate with suppliers regarding order status, backorders, delays, shortages, and expedited shipments.
- Work closely with production and purchasing to maintain adequate inventory levels.
- Resolve shipping discrepancies, damaged freight, shortages, and delivery issues.
- Maintain accurate records within the ERP system and Microsoft Office applications.
- Process shipping documentation and maintain organized logistics records.
- Monitor freight costs and identify opportunities for cost savings.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with vendors and transportation partners.
- Assist with purchasing and other supply chain functions as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in logistics, purchasing, supply chain, manufacturing, or a related field preferred.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook.
- ERP experience is preferred but not required.
- Manufacturing experience is a plus.
