Saw/Blanchard Grinder - 2nd Shift

Eaton’s IS AER FED division is currently seeking a Saw/Blanchard Grinder - 2nd Shift. to join our team in Beltsville, MD!

This is a 2nd shift position with core hours of 3 pm - 11 pm.

The hourly rate for this position is $21.50 per hour + 10% shift premium.

## What you’ll do:

• Setup and run both saw and Blanchard (grinders) machines.
• Use basic MFG-Pro screen maintenance
• Run the gateway release for operator report daily.
• Print work orders
• Identify problems with material lots and quantities
• Perform all 5S+ activities and keep immediate work area clean and free from hazards.
• Work in accordance with general safety rules and practices.
• Responsible for finished parts conformity to print or specification.
• Participate in continuous improvement of processes.
• Maintain cell charts
• Dedicate a minimum of one hour a week on continuous improvements activities.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

## Qualifications:

Required (Basic) Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution
• Minimum of 1 year of manufacturing experience required

## Skills:

• Must be able to use the computer
• Read and comprehend specifications, engineering drawings and manufacturing routings
• Position requires exposure to oil, dirt, and heat
• Must wear safety glasses, ear plugs and steel toed shoes for entire shift
• Ability to stand, sit, move 8-12 hours a day with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Must be able to lift up to 35lbs on a regular basis with or without reasonable accommodation.
