Description

- Installing and repairing sprinkler heads, pipes, valves, low voltage electrical and controllers.
- Utilizing smart technology to program controllers.
- Reading irrigation system blueprints, preparing sketches, determining layouts and system components.
- Determining materials needed for systems maintenance and modification.
- Performing clock maintenance, replacing fuses and panels, and cleaning mechanisms.

Benefits by Occupational Unit: Craft, Labor & TradePhysical: This position requires frequent moving, lifting and carrying of items weighing up to 50 pounds as well as squatting, crawling, kneeling, and stooping.
Travel: Travel throughout the County is required. A valid California Class C driver license and proof of automobile liability insurance are required at the time of appointment and must be maintained throughout employment.
