ABOUT THE ROLE:

SNAPSHOT:  As a Merchandiser at Lyons Specialty Co., LLC, you'll ensure that products are displayed attractively, stocked appropriately, and presented according to the company standards to maximize sales and enhance the customer shopping experience.  

Merchandisers work independently or as a team and travel from account to account to perform their duties, making occasional trips to the main warehouse in Port Allen if supplies or additional products are needed.

Requirements

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Reading and understanding product lists, planograms, and store layout plans.
• Travel to multiple locations as scheduled.
• Complete new store setups, resets, by stocking shelves, racks, and displays according to current layout or planogram.  This includes fixture assembly, product placement, signage installation, and merchandising according to company guidelines.
• Perform store resets by reorganizing displays, updating product layouts and/or planograms, cleaning shelves, removing dated or damaged products, and printing and replacing shelf tags.
• Provide excellent customer service with store managers.
• Provide accurate and timely post-call reporting to supervisor.
• Identify opportunities to improve product placement and increase sales.
• Some overnight stay is required.
• Other duties as assigned.

ABOUT YOU:

 Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous merchandising, retail, store reset, or stocking experience preferred.
• Basic proficiency with smartphones, computers, or tablets.
• Experience reading and executing planograms is a plus.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and willingness to travel between assigned locations.
• Must maintain a positive attitude with changing schedules and deadlines.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand, walk, bend and/or crouch, kneel, and reach for extended periods.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to use ladders and safely work at varying heights when required.
• Comfortable working in various convenience store environments.

PRE-EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS: 

Applicable candidates will be required to submit authorization and successfully complete Pre-Employment Screening:
