About the Role
As an Operations Assistant, you'll be part of our frontline team responsible for verifying and processing work that impacts real patients and real care. You'll play a critical role in delivering timely, accurate, and high-quality output that helps medical practices run more efficiently and ensures patients get the care they need.

What You'll Do
- Support Provider Practices: Process and verify patient and referral data with a high degree of accuracy and urgency, using internal and partner tools.
- Maintain Operational Quality: Follow standard operating procedures while surfacing bugs or patterns that impact quality or speed.
- Ensure Timely Turnaround: Meet internal SLAs for task completion so partner practices and patients aren't left waiting.
- Hit Quality and Productivity Targets: Maintain a target accuracy rate of 98%+ on processed documents and meet daily throughput goals.
- Continuously Improve: Participate in training and calibration to ensure ongoing quality and performance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree, OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 1+ years of experience in back-office operations, administrative support, medical data entry, customer service, or operations in a process-driven environment.
- Strong written English (B2/C1 level); able to read and follow detailed instructions in English.
- Available to work US-aligned hours (specific shift to be confirmed at offer).
- Willing to complete HIPAA training prior to start and adhere to PHI handling protocols.
- Able to pass a background check.
- Comfort adapting to evolving workflows, tools, and SOPs as the business iterates.
- Not required but a plus: Prior experience supporting US healthcare clients.

Schedule & Location
This is a full-time, on-site role. You will be expected to work hours that overlap with US business hours; specific schedules will be confirmed at offer.
Compliance & Data Security
Because this role involves handling Protected Health Information (PHI), all team members must:
- Complete HIPAA training before processing live data and recertify annually.
- Follow Valerie Health's data security and PHI handling policies at all times.
- Pass a pre-employment background check.
