What You’ll Do
- Contribute to the ongoing effectiveness, performance, and continuous enhancement of payroll systems and operations.
- Maintain and optimise payroll systems, including configurations, integrations, and the integrity of day-to-day data processing.
- Investigate and resolve payroll system issues through analysis, testing, and collaboration with key business stakeholders.
- Champion continuous improvement initiatives by enhancing payroll processes and supporting the adoption of new technologies and solutions.
- Identify opportunities to improve system functionality and operational efficiency, supporting business cases, change initiatives, and user training where required.
- Coordinate and prioritise payroll-related projects, reporting requirements, and system enhancements in partnership with business leaders.
- Provide hands-on support across payroll activities, including data maintenance, validation, processing, and quality assurance.
- Develop and maintain positive stakeholder relationships while delivering timely and effective support for payroll-related enquiries.
- Act as a trusted payroll subject matter expert, providing guidance, support, and expertise to colleagues while contributing to service excellence and change initiatives.
Key Criteria
- At minimum 5 years’ payroll systems experience, working within a fast-paced business environment.
- Experience using Workday is a must have.
- Experience involving system integration, maintenance, troubleshooting and development is a strong advantage.
- Prior experience with payroll processing (preferrably Australian payroll).
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft office suite.
- Exceptional communication, people and customer service skills.
- A team player, strong collaborator and loves being in an agile supportive team.
Work setup:
- Manila (BGC, Taguig): Australian hours (6:00AM – 3:00PM PHT) with hybrid setup 2 times a week for the first month. To move to Hybrid, once a week (every Thursday) after.
