COEX Partners is an Agency Execution broker that gives institutional clients a 360-degree coverage across a comprehensive product portfolio. As well as generating trading ideas for our clients, we help structure, execute and monitor their positions by providing support across the entire trade lifecycle – from Trade Selection through to Post Trade Reporting.
Role Overview
This position involves monitoring and providing L1/L2/L3 support of the Trading System used by the COEX RV desk. It offers a unique opportunity to work at the forefront of fixed income markets, incorporating a developer component that allows candidates to enhance the systems and tools that support trading activities. The position requires strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of fixed income products, effective communication and the ability to work under pressure while navigating irregular working hours and collaborating closely with brokers and clients. Overall, this role provides a chance to develop expertise in a specialized area while contributing to a critical team in a hybrid work setting based in New York.
The target clients are primarily Relative Value or Macro Hedge Funds involved in intra-day spreading. The desk employs low latency & high frequency infrastructure with an open-ended approach. The algorithms, trading front-end and a number of pre and post trade tools are developed in-house.
Role Responsibilities
Work closely alongside the trading desk, current development team and third parties, providing L1/L2/L3 support for the trading system
Actively tune monitoring tools, thresholds, and alerting to ensure issues are known when they occur
Handle trading system reference data change requests
Performing software development (initially some rudimentary changes / additions, with training provided for more advance work)
Experience / Competencies
Essential
Minimum 2 years Trading System Support experience
Trading Front End knowledge
Some coding experience and skillset
Resilient in a challenging, fast paced environment
Excellent communication skills
Ability to prioritize and multi-task
Capable of working independently as well as collaboratively within a small team

Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy in trading applications and data
Team Collaboration: Experience working in agile environments and collaborating with cross-functional teams
Communication Skills: Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, such as traders or management
Knowledge of the FIX protocol
Fixed Income product experience
