Main Responsibilities
1. Supervise day to day operational activities related to ship operation.
2. Ensure compliance with organisation procedures and industry regulations to ensure the safe operation of ships.
3. Manage primary communications link with the Ship's Master also manage relation with customers.
4. Monitore the ship movements and cargo transfer operations.
5. Analyze ships operational data to improve efficiency, evaluate performance, and make data-driven decisions.
General Responsibilities
1. Ensure the implementation of an Integrated Management System, including the identification, documentation, and control of risks in the relevant department's work area.
2. Foster and ensure the commitment of every team member to understand and adhere to all applicable Integrated Management System requirements.
3. Be willing to participate in the investigation process of accidents, incidents, or actions that may lead to incidents caused by unsafe actions or unsafe conditions, including providing accurate information and reports based on known facts.
4. Be willing to engage in the information security control process applied to protect the information assets and information processing assets owned and/or managed by the Company from threats to confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
Qualifications
- Minimum Diploma (D3) in Port and Shipping Management, Transportation Management, or a related field.
- Prior experience in the shipping agency industry through internships or full-time employment is preferred.
- Good understanding of cargo and container operations, port regulations, and coordination with relevant authorities (e.g., Pelindo, KSOP, Customs, and Immigration).
- Proficient in English, both written and spoken.
- Willing to travel for business and be assigned to other locations as required.
