Who We’re Looking For
- Bachelor's Degree in Law (S.H. or equivalent).
- Holding a PERADI Advocate License (or currently in the process of obtaining one) is an advantage but not mandatory.
Work Experience
- 3–6 years of professional legal experience, either entirely within a corporate law firm or through a combination of corporate law firm and in-house legal counsel experience.
- Demonstrated exposure to corporate and commercial legal matters, as well as corporate compliance and housekeeping, including contract drafting and negotiation, corporate actions, corporate records management, and legal support for financing transactions and/or mergers & acquisitions (M&A).
- Experience handling business licensing and regulatory matters, including OSS-RBA and sector-specific licenses, is highly preferred, particularly in a multi-industry environment such as F&B, education, and healthcare.
- Experience in legal audits and legal due diligence is an advantage.
Technical Competencies
- Strong understanding of the Indonesian Civil Code (particularly Book III on the Law of Obligations), Law No. 40 of 2007 on Limited Liability Companies (as amended by the Job Creation Law), and applicable business licensing regulations, including the OSS-RBA framework.
- Excellent legal drafting skills in Bahasa Indonesia, with the ability to independently prepare first drafts of agreements, legal memoranda, and corporate legal documents with minimal supervision.
- Strong analytical and issue-spotting capabilities, with the ability to identify legal and commercial risks, assess implications, and provide practical, business-oriented legal solutions rather than merely highlighting issues.
- Proficiency in both written and spoken English is an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of Indonesian employment law (including the Job Creation Law cluster), agrarian law, and personal data protection regulations (PDP Law) is considered a plus.

- Able to manage multiple legal matters across different business units simultaneously while effectively prioritizing tasks under tight deadlines.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to explain legal risks and concepts in a clear, practical, and business-friendly manner.
- Highly detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of working independently after initial direction.
- Willing to supervise, mentor, and review the work of junior legal staff or interns as the legal team continues to grow.
Your Day-to-Day
Corporate & Commercial
- Draft, review, and negotiate a broad range of commercial agreements including vendor contracts, service agreements, NDAs, and partnership arrangements.
- Provide legal support for corporate governance matters including board resolutions, entity maintenance, and regulatory filings.
- Assist in transactional workstreams such as fundraising, joint ventures, or strategic partnerships as required
- Monitor regulatory developments and advise internal teams on compliance obligations relevant to the company's business activities
- Support the development and implementation of standard contract templates, legal policies, and internal processes
Litigation & Dispute Resolution
- Manage civil disputes from pre-litigation through settlement or judgment, including coordination with external litigation counsel.
- Lead or support internal fraud investigations, including document preservation, witness coordination, and preparation of investigation reports.
- Coordinate the filing and monitoring of police reports (Laporan Polisi) and follow up with relevant law enforcement authorities.
- Prepare and respond to formal legal correspondence including demand letters, cease and desist notices, and legal claims .
- Maintain a dispute register and provide regular status updates to senior management on active contentious matters.
