Strong understanding of regulatory and legal risk processes, and  native level/ C2 German language proficiency to interact with German-speaking business stakeholders.Focuses on business requirement gathering, functional design, and stakeholder alignment to support initiatives within Legal Risk and Regulatory Reporting in a large banking environment  and  working closely with IT teams for delivery. Key ResponsibilitiesFunctional & Business ResponsibilitiesAct as a functional representative for Legal Risk and Regulatory Reporting initiatives.Engage with Business, Legal, Compliance, and Risk teams toGather, analyze, and document regulatory and business requirementsInterpret regulatory changes and assess functional impactPrepare clear and structured functional deliverables, including:Business and Functional Requirement DocumentsFunctional designs, business rules, workflows, and reporting logicEnsure alignment with internal policies, controls, and regulatory expectationsSupport UAT activities, including requirement clarification, issue analysis, and business sign-offAct as a bridge between Business and IT, clarifying functional intent and resolving requirement-related queriesEnsure timely communication and escalation of issues impacting regulatory commitmentsStakeholder Management & CommunicationServe as a key point of contact between Business and Technology teams.Conduct requirement discussions, walkthroughs, and reviews in German and English.Prepare concise functional summaries, impact assessments, and status updates for stakeholders.SkillsGerman at native/C2 levelStrong exposure to:Legal RiskRegulatory ReportingRisk, Compliance, or Finance functionsProven experience in business analysis and functional design roles within regulatory programs.Good understanding of banking systems, data flows, and reporting platforms
