We have an exciting opportunity for a Full-Time Housekeeper/Laundry Personnel to join our Environmental Services department. The Housekeeper/Laundry Personnel is responsible for maintaining a clean and sanitary environment for the residents, patients, visitors and staff. Dusts, removes trash from rooms, cleans bathrooms and mop floors. In addition, they are responsible for performing laundry and delivering residents’ clothing in the Nursing Unit. Demonstrates an understanding of, and embraces, the mission statement of Christian Health.
Competencies:
Collect trash throughout the building and discard into dumpsters outside of the facilityClean and sanitize all public bathrooms and laundry rooms throughout the buildingVacuum hallways, sitting areas, lobby, chapel, offices and residents’ roomsClean elevators and stairwells throughout the buildingClean and sanitize residents’ bathrooms and showers as well as check high dustingBed and complete room cleaning in the Nursing UnitParticipate in annual spring cleaningHigh dust throughout the building as neededClean chairs and table bases in the main dining roomChange and make beds once a weekPass out towels twice a weekDo residents’ laundry as neededDeliver patients’ clothing in the Nursing UnitReplace paper towels, hand soap and pass out gloves as needed in the Nursing UnitClean glass door entrances, windows in and out as well as blinds throughout the buildingPolish resident furniture and common areas throughout the building
